The Infrastructure and Security Operations Manager will provide oversight, leadership, and guidance to the SBM Infrastructure & Security Operations Team. The role will be responsible for the leadership of current daily operations of a team of System Administrators, Architects, and Security Analysts who manage our infrastructure and safeguard our SBM environment from vulnerabilities and threats.
Responsibilities:Leading a team and using a metrics-based approach, understand and improve current processes. Understand business needs and adjust or develop new processes to efficiently provide excellent service and value to our users. Provides leadership in developing and maintaining a secure and optimized infrastructure. Manages and guides staff to ensure high productivity and efficiency. Develop standard operating procedures and other appropriate documentation to enforce quality and consistency of the services this team provides.Prepares, evaluates, and presents infrastructure and security solutions to leadership. Recommends, coordinates, and implements technical controls to ensure policies and processes are performing as intended. Responsible for oversight of wide variety of operational functions including but not limited to: IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address infrastructure needs, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.Implement best practices for system monitoring, performance optimization, and disaster recovery.Security Leadership: Forensics Cyber Incident Response Network Inspection, Segregation, & Filtering Metrics & Reporting Enterprise Access Auditing (External & Internal, Network, System, Web, etc.) Team Management: Build and lead a high-performance team of IT professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT Infrastructure and Security team.Qualifications:
BS in Management Information Systems or Computer Science related field or related work experience. 10+ Proven work experience in IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, storage, and data centers. Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including network architecture, server administration, virtualization, cloud computing, and data storage. Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control mechanisms. Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools to ensure the availability and performance of systems. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of IT professionals. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical and effective solutions.Compensation: $118,000 - $145,000 per year
