Manager - Product Innovation 

 

As the Manager of Product Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in owning customer requirements, collaborating with key stakeholders, and driving the strategic planning to bring innovative products to market. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and you and your team will lead multiple innovation initiatives, conducting rapid innovation sprints to validate problems worth solving, develop disruptive concepts, and transition successful concepts to the product portfolio team. Additionally, you will drive a culture of innovation across all Omnicell, enabling teams to run their own innovation sprints. Your expertise in lean startup and product development methodologies will be instrumental in driving efficiency and innovation.

 

Responsibilities:

Recruit, inspire, and lead a high-performing team of customer obsessed product managers. Cultivate a collaborative, creative, and high-energy work environment focused on rapid innovation and solving big unaddressed customer problems. Customer-Centric Approach: Own the identification and prioritization of customer requirements, ensuring alignment with Omnicell's mission to improve patient outcomes in acute care settings. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, customers, and external partners, to develop innovative products that address critical needs and challenges. Product Development: Lead rapid innovation sprints to validate problems, determine value propositions for Omnicell and customers, develop disruptive concepts, and validate solutions with customers. Strategic Planning: Generate comprehensive plans to bring innovative products to market, including Go-to-Market strategies, pricing strategies, and distribution plans. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate effectively with hardware and software teams, leveraging your experience in rapidly developing and deploying innovative products in established markets. Data Driven Performance Tracking: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of our products on patient outcomes. Utilize data-driven insights to iterate and optimize product performance.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of success as a Product Manager and a leader in a start-up or early stage company, with experience rapidly developing and launching innovative products in established markets. Strong experience working with hardware and software teams, with a deep understanding of agile development processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address customer needs and market opportunities through deep customer obsession. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards a common goal. Passion for healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes.
