Axis is looking for a Manager, Inside Sales to manage our team of Inside Sales Account Managers, to promote and aid the sale of Axis Communications products and solutions within the Northeast Business Area.
This is an in-person role, and the ideal candidate will be located within reasonable driving distance to our office in Chelmsford, MA.
What you will do
The Manager, Inside Sales is responsible for reaching sales goals by managing, coaching, recruiting and developing members of the local Inside Sales team within the Business Area.
Define, develop and execute Business Area inside sales strategies, processes, and operations to support them.
Coaching/mentoring team members on sales best practices, and to maintain high quality, customer-focused standards.
Provide support for both internal and external Axis customers and act as an internal escalation point for the local Inside Sales team.
Manage and oversee day to day activities of the local inside sales team:
Maintain focus on current processes and initiatives, and implementation of change
Provide direction and communication to ensure calls are answered in a timely, efficient and knowledgeable manner.
Provide daily review of sales lead queues; ensuring team members are providing accurate and timely follow up.
Oversee team calendars, scheduling of resources and adequate staffing of phones and chat across the business areas.
Regularly monitor wallboard call activity and intervene as necessary for quality assurance and training purposes.
Act as a liaison and provide feedback and concerns to the Business Area Director.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
College degree in a related field
5+ years in inside sales
3+ years experience building and managing teams of inside or outside salespeople

Target Salary
$95,000 - $115,000 Total Target Compensation (based on education, experience, and location).
