This role will lead a team of inside sales professionals driving net new business growth in Enterprise accounts. We are currently looking for a dynamic leader in Draper UT to lead an existing team, as well as adding new members to our already successful group. This person will be responsible for a team of hunters to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction and portfolio awareness.
Your day-to-day
Guide and motivate a team of Account Executives to drive revenue growth through a positive, high-touch customer experience leveraging proven sales methodologies.Connect Account Executives to key resources and clear roadblocks, enabling them to achieve and/or exceed their revenue goalsMaintain a positive culture that inspires performance and achievementInstill and maintain an integrity based sales process with respect to rep/customer interactionsActively engage attracting and securing top talent for our rapid growth plansProvide training, ongoing coaching and development to Account ExecutivesPrepare and execute a thorough business plan, including planning for both current and future quarter successTrack/report on key performance indicators (KPIs)Prepare and present team forecast to executive managementMaintain internal partnerships with various business units including Sales Engineering and MarketingBecome a perpetual student of Proofpoint products, and the ever-changing Cybersecurity industry!May require modified office/work hours to cover accounts in other time zones, and occasional travel for key accountsWhat you bring to the team
2-5 years of experience building and leading high performing inside sales teams with proven successMust have prior quota carrying sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, software or IT technologyStrong leadership experience, with a focus on training, coaching and motivationExpert knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting, cold calling through to negotiation and closingExperience in solution sales environment, and ideally training/experience in a specific sales methodology such as MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN Selling, et al.Ability to occasionally function in “Player/Coach” role and assist account executives closing dealsAbility to provide situational coaching and advice and help guide deals to closureAlways maintain positivity and a go getter attitudeTechnical aptitude, and ability to learn new concepts quickly and adopt to changing circumstancesExperience working with Salesforce.com is a mustBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience requiredThis is a hybrid position located in Draper, UTWhy Proofpoint
