Primary Purpose of the Position

The position will primarily be responsible for fueling data driven decision making at Goodyear. This includes the entire gamut of data analysis from basic descriptive data analysis to using advanced predictive techniques. Data storytelling is a key aspect of the role as the analytics will need to be connected to the business strategy and drive actionability.

 

A secondary objective of the role is to assist with market research initiatives in line with the APAC business strategy. Lead / Coach multiple APAC markets on the entire market research process, including research design, sampling strategy, data collection, data analysis plan, providing key learnings and making recommendations aligned to business objectives. This role encompasses all phases of research along the brand’s lifecycle continuum, including brand tracking, segmentation and positioning, brand health and product life cycle management activities. The role will report to the regional Consumer Insights & Analytics Director and will work closely to define the APAC Insights & Analytics strategy. All of the above will require: Working closely with in-market teams, cross functional teams (e.g. Supply chain, Trade Marketing etc. ), and data/research agencies Presenting data and insights to the stakeholders Training teams across APAC Planning, budgeting, and engaging with procurement for RFPs and payments. Ensure continuous alignment and strategic partnership with APAC and Country Marketing and Executive Leadership.

 

Qualifications:

Good exposure and understanding of primary market research tools and techniques.  Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skill.  Solid interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work with a multi-national team, and lead through influence to create alignment. Proficiency in verbal and written English. 10+ years working experiences in data analytics and consumer research. 4 years + Work experience in consumer products and MNC environments. 3 years+ work experience with a market research/data analytics agency. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to manage external agencies across the APAC region. Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI and Tableau.  Hands-on experience with statistic analysis software e.g SPSS
