Location/Division Specific InformationThis position will be based in Budapest, Hungary and be part of the Product & Document Lifecycle Management team within Enterprise Technology Organization.
How will you make an impact?As IT Manager you will lead the PLM and DMS application team in EMEA with passion to provide technical expertise to build effective and scalable PLM solutions, aligning with Thermo Fisher Scientific standards & strategic objectives. As main point of contact for EMEA business responsible for managing system requirements, design, development, integration, quality assurance, implementation and maintenance of the Oracle Cloud PLM application. Alongside to OCPLM scope of supported applications can increase to Documentum, eDMS, D3, Agile PLM and other future solutions of the PDLM team.
EducationBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
ResponsibilitiesAs an IT Manager in PDLM space, you would be responsible to support the validated and non-validated production systems by completing projects, resolving access, incident and change requests in timely way and improve user experience.
Manage a team of PDLM analysts and developers who support and maintain the platform.Act as a people manager for the EMEA PDLM team members including hiring, retention and career development.Leading exciting customer discussions to understand and convert the functional requirements to technical specifications for the benefit of our clients. Design, develop, debug configurations, data quality services, and workflow solutions.Ensure system configurations and processes followed by the team stay aligned with all internal and external audit requirements, data privacy laws, security requirements and validation.As main point of contact for the European business provide technical support, roadmap/timeline planning, staffing and level of effort activities for projects and ensure the latest software delivery methodologies and tools are applied.Integrate the Oracle cloud with downstream ERP systems like E1 and SAP, BI for reporting, Hybris and other applications.Develop solution architecture for key projects.Develop roadmap for applications supported in Europe.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesMust have 6 or more years of recent development / implementation of enterprise level business applications.Demonstrable experience as people/line manager.Conceptual knowledge of PLM and MDM solutions is helpful. Alternatively experience in major enterprise systems (ERP, etc.) can be considered .Functional knowledge of PLM for part management, document management, CAD management, change management is a plus.Knowledge on Lifesciences regulations across different countries, DHF management, DMR management etc is added advantage.Understand business challenge and propose solutions aligning with strategic goals and timeline.BenefitsWe offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
