Manager, IT Asset Management
Are you an experienced and motivated professional passionate about Software asset management? We're on the hunt for a practiced Software Asset Manager to lead and inspire our team, oversee operations, and ensure our software investments are optimized for peak performance.

In this role, you'll take charge, showcasing your domain expertise and demonstrating ownership to provide leadership and guidance to your team. With a proactive approach to project management, you'll keep everyone in the loop with consistent status updates, set clear expectations, and assess team performance to ensure excellence. Your insights will be pivotal in managing our software assets, ensuring compliance, and driving impactful business decisions through data-driven analysis and strategic guidance.

The successful final candidate:

• Negotiates all aspects of the firm’s basic to highly complex software and/or hardware contracts, leveraging the firm’s aggregate spend and global footprint to negotiate favorable pricing and terms. Consults with legal staff as required ensuring quality contract language. Works with business partners to understand the requirements, roadmaps and objectives. Works from high level goals.
• Works with senior management to create the annual technology department budget. Reviews, analyzes, and advises senior technology management on the budget-versus-actual spend variances and makes recommendations for the portfolio of spend. Provides costing and analysis of technology asset spending on an ongoing basis. Makes strategic sourcing decisions based on analysis of spend data and industry best practices and trends. Liaisons with the finance function to develop best practices to track and report on all technology spending for the firm.
• Designs, oversees and maintains technology asset lifecycle management policies and practices. Provides technology and firm-wide training and documentation on issues related to technology asset lifecycle management strategy, appropriate costing and best practice methods for budgeting. Develops policy and process to ensure license compliance. Conducts regular audits and takes corrective action as necessary. Collaborates with the information security function to develop compliance training.
• Develops requirements, evaluates and selects AM tools. Assesses tools for performance, return-on-investment and relevancy.
• Manages the day to day activity of staff. Provides feedback on performance appraisals. Manages the development and training of staff. Approves paid time off requests (PTO) and ensures human resources policies are followed.
• Performs other duties as required.
