Manager, IT Audit
Overview Job Purpose Intercontinental Exchange is looking for an IT Audit Manager based in the Atlanta headquarters office. The position has a dual purpose of managing a team of high performing individuals while delivering on key regulatory audits and / or strategic Audit initiatives. The team manager will be responsible for both managing and being a hands-on participant within a team of IT auditors. The IT Audit Manager will lead the delivery of complex technology, cybersecurity, regulatory and integrated audits. This includes designing an approach, planning the audit, reviewing the workpapers, report issuance and audit file closure. All these activities rely on proactive discussions with business and IT management. This manager also has the opportunity to work with regulators and present to senior management committees. Additionally, this manager has to assist in the department’s process improvement initiatives. This role offers opportunities to work in an international conglomerate, audit across a diverse and fast-changing technology environment and develop relationships with Senior Management. Responsibilities Design and lead risk-based audits and projects from start to end. Review and approve the work of the IT Audit Team (internal or co-sourced). Discuss audit findings with management and communicate deficiencies, offer management with value-add insights. Utilize data analytics tools for internal reporting, analyzing risk and fieldwork. Build strong relationships with IT Management and other business leaders. Directly manage a team and assist in the development of junior staff through coaching, feedback and review of work and performance. Liaise with external auditors on IT audit engagements. Interact with regulators during exams. Assist the Senior Director of Internal Audit with the development and execution of the annual Internal Audit Plan. Participate in the annual and ongoing risk assessments to identify areas chosen for audit. Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness IT control processes and procedures for various operational, financial and compliance processes. Coordinate documentation requests with the Compliance department to meet various internal and external audit request. Work on special projects as assigned. 10-20% travel as needed (some international). Perform stakeholder management and staff management. Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BBA/BCA/ BE or equivalent) in a technical field is preferred. CISA or CISM certification required - other technical certifications such as the CISSP will be looked at favorably. 6+ years of experience in an IT audit function with a deep understanding of IT control processes including information security, access controls, change management, cloud operations and IT operations among others. 3+ years of experience managing diverse teams performing Information Security and IT Operations assessments and Regulatory driven assessments and reviews specifically FFIEC, GDPR, Reg SCI and CFTC System Safeguards. Demonstrated the ability to identify problems, recommends effective solutions, and ensure that those solutions are implemented effectively and on a timely basis. Experienced with project management and the have managed multiple projects and tasks. Knowledge of application, and network security and secure development life cycle is a plus. Big Four audit experience and experience testing SOX IT controls is a plus. Familiar with data analytics and visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau or Splunk. Experience with TeamMate+ or similar audit system is a must. Proficient in Microsoft Office especially with SharePoint, Excel and Word. Able to work collaboratively and have excellent communication skills. Possess a high level of autonomy, problem solving skills, and independent research skills.
