As an IT Manager o­­n the Data Center (Network Operations) team, you'll be responsible for the team implementing corporate IT Datacenter Network and Load-balancing initiatives that support the strategy and goals of the corporation. Oversee day to day operations and support for the Datacenter Network and Load-balancing teams. Implements IT standards, policies and/or master plan for the IT Datacenter Network function. Manages the development and acquisition of new technologies and tools to improve the organization's internal operations and data delivery. Implements new technological directions and manages the organization in the deployment.

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Oversee a departments of the Datacenter Network and Load-balancing.Implement IT plan according to the IT and corporate strategy.Manage the maintenance and enhancement of hardware and software systems that support field business applications and local area network/wide area networks (LAN/WAN) for employees.Manage IT employees to ensure uninterrupted IT network support at maximum performance.Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies and procedures.Accountable for respective budgets.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Experience:3 years of IT work experience 1 year of Project management experience Education: BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experienceSkills:Basic computer skills, with proficiency with Word and ExcelKnowledge of computer and/or network systems, applications, procedures and techniquesExperience leading others and providing constructive feedbackDemonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholdersSkill in organizing resources and establishing prioritiesDemonstrated knowledge of information technologies and methodologies related to assigned IT segment or areaA team player with the ability to enable changes in the business processes and ability to work cooperatively with all groups is essentialDemonstrated ability to successfully distill complex technical information into clear, concise yet comprehensive communication materialDemonstrated ability to meet rigorous deadlines while managing multiple projects concurrentlyAbilities:Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.Ability to learn and support new systems and applicationsAbility to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situationsAbility to display a sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficientlyAbility to multi-task and handle on a proactive basis, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment in order to maximize time-management and efficienciesSchedule:Full timeOffice environmentSubject to ocassional travel (if necessary)

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of Management or leadership experienceExperience in a Data Center / Network Operations enviroment 

Experience with new and legacy switching technologies including Fabricpath, Vxlan, EVPN and spanning-tree

Experience with F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Global Traffic Manager (GTM), Global Server Load-Balancing (GSLB)

Experience in network automation/scripting utilizing Python, Ansible or other technologies
