Our Information Technology team plays a critical role at Nutrien, enabling our business with the technology needed to advance toward our digital future. In addition to managing the systems and tools that keep our company running, we enable Nutrien’s tech strategy and run Centres of Excellence in Cloud, Cybersecurity, Automation, and SAP, as well as a Centre for Acceleration in Data in Analytics.  

 

What you will do:

Facilitate creation and delivery of IT planning/operations technology roadmaps and IT process artifacts

Create and manage IT KPI and performance standards, monitoring tools, and playbooks and practices to ensure effective and efficient operations of the IT function

Support the development of IT models, frameworks, and playbooks to enable insights and decisions to drive IT planning design, development, and realization

In collaboration with the Director, IT Planning & Transformation, facilitate the creation of the aggregate IT Roadmap Plan and the Annual implementation plan

Define, maintain, and report on the IT metrics used to monitor and optimize IT outcomes necessary to achieve organizational goals and IT objectives/KPIs

In collaboration with the Director, IT Planning & Transformation and ITLT, maintain and evolve the IT operating model that is required to successfully execute the IT Roadmap Plan. This includes educating IT employees on the guiding principles for the IT ways of working, managing the high-level definition of roles and responsibilities, and working closely with other parts of the IT organization on the selection of IT process standards and IT tools to be followed

What you will bring:

6-10 years of experience in business, planning, management consulting, administrative management or similar  

Experience in a large corporate environment (global is a plus) 

Demonstrated strategic mindset 

Strong communication skills, including the ability to present concepts verbally to all levels 

Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and partnership 

Experience presenting technical initiatives to a non-technical audience 

Superior organization and prioritization skills, striving to meet tight timelines and balancing multiple competing priorities  

Confidence as a communicator and presenter 

Competence in standard Microsoft 365 software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

 

Salary Range $105,300 - $195,600 annually. This range is estimated for Manager, IT Planning Processes & Alignment role in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
