**Job Description:**
The Manager Business Mgmt leads and manages a medium to large business management team or a diverse function in an area of moderate risk, complexity or scope usually involving short to medium term planning, ensuring an integrated approach with other business management areas, broader organization, and enterprise as appropriate.
**Department Overview:**
The KYC Procedures Manager is responsible for drafting, implementing, and communicating procedures for Know Your Customer processes, and is part of a new centralized KYC function accountable for designing and delivering KYC capabilities, partnering with the Lines of Business (LOB) to drive formalization of KYC process, controls, and procedures to comply with the enterprise KYC requirements.
Additionally, the Procedures Manager is responsible for being a point of contact for Subject Matter Expert knowledge for product teams, the line of business, and all stakeholders in the KYC process. Additional duties to be assigned, but entirely within the scope of KYC / AML.
**Depth & Scope:**
+ Leads and manages a significant business management functional area and overall operation of a diverse group in an area of moderate risk, complexity or scope
+ Ensures an integrated approach with other business management areas, broader organization, and enterprise as appropriate
+ Deep knowledge and understanding of businesses / technology, and organizational practices/ disciplines
+ Sound to advanced knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own function / business
+ Focuses on short to medium-term issues (e.g. 6-12 months)
**Education & Experience:**
+ Undergraduate degree
+ 7+ years relevant experience
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ 7+ years of relevant financial services industry experience including significant focus on supporting KYC or executing KYC, and/or compliance related functions.
+ Solution oriented, with ability to navigate a large organization and make assessments and decisions with sometimes vague, incomplete, or partial context/parameters.
+ Independent thinker with exceptional analytical skills and strong business acumen.
+ High degree of personal initiative, with strong influencing and leadership skills.
+ Superior written and verbal communication skills, including writing easy to follow procedures, job aids, and documents to support KYC requirements for all joiners to the KYC Operations Organization.
+ Proven ability to work with and build strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
+ Undergraduate degree or training in Business, English, Social Sciences, Pre-Law, History, Political Science, or related disciplines.
+ Excellent presentation skills and ability to explain complicated issues in simple terms
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Available for travel when and as needed
