Join Team Amex and let's lead the way together. **Your mission** **:** In this role, you will be responsible for managing a group of ~7 Lead Generation Representatives whose main objective is to guide customers through the American Express Business Line of Credit application process and ultimately help qualify as many applicants as possible. Success in this role is measured by the team hitting and exceeding quarterly sales goals in a competitive, collaborative, and compliant environment.  **What you’ll be doing** **:** + Manage a group of Lead Generation Representatives + Conduct call monitoring for effective coaching and feedback + Develop team through motivation, guidance, and product knowledge + Track and coach towards quarterly targets + Collaborate with other teams across the organization + Participate is projects to help grow and optimize Lead Gen as a whole + Utilizing leading indicators and reporting to coach to individual performance + Partner with key stakeholders to improve the product, processes, and procedures. **Expectations:** + Operate in a compliant and ethical manner + Contribute to the success of Lead Gen as a whole by being a thought leader + Uphold Amex’s Bluebox Values on a daily basis in everything you do + Manage multiple workstreams while simultaneously supporting your team + Become a subject matter expert (SME) on business line of credit to support your team **What we’re looking for in you** **:** + 3-5 years of sales experience selling to SMBs  + Past telephone sales experience  + History of consistently exceeding sales goals  + Experience selling software, platform and/or SaaS solutions to SMBs  + Has a desire to grow personally and professionally  + Experienced at growing and developing others + Strong communication skills + Salesforce experience a plus + Collaborator that can work with cross-functional partners + Previous sales leadership experience a plus **Interpersonal skills** **we’re** **looking for** **: ** + **Empathy** **:** Demonstrate that you genuinely care about others. + **Creativity** **:** Think outside the box; take risks and ignore doubts in an effort to challenge the status quo. + **Proactivity** **:** Resourceful, has grit, and a positive "can-do" attitude; acts without being told what to do. + **Flexibility** **/** **Adaptability** **:** Can handle rapidly changing priorities and projects. + **Analytical** **Skills** **:** Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it; exhibits a probing mind and achieves penetrating insights. + **Follow** **-** **Through** **:** Follows through on items without being managed. + **Communication** **:** Excellent communication and influencing skills and ability to work across multiple groups with ease.  + **Colleague Development** **:** Ability to provide back and forth feedback with direct reports to help progress career development and individual performance.  + **Compliant & Ethical** **:** Operating with a strong moral compass, doing the right thing even when it isn’t the easy thing.   **This will be a Hybrid position where you will be in the office 3 days a week.** **Working hours are Monday through Friday, 11-7 EST.** **Training schedule & hours may differ from working hours.** **Qualifications** Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
