Manager, Learning and Development
 

Job Overview:

 

Supporting the South Region, the Manager, Learning and Development (L&D) is responsible for designing, facilitating, and overseeing learning programs that drive professional growth, enhance skills, and foster a culture of continuous learning in alignment with our FirstService Residential Values. The role focuses on aligning learning initiatives with business goals to ensure an impactful and cohesive approach to associate development. The L&D Manager will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to assess needs, create strategic learning solutions, and measure program effectiveness.

 

 This position is a Hybrid position based out of Plantation, Florida. 

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

Program Design & Development: Develop and manage learning programs and initiatives that support leadership development, technical training, and associate upskilling. Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions through various methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended approaches, ensuring engagement and alignment with learning objectives. Needs Assessment: Conduct organizational assessments to identify skills gaps and development needs, leveraging data and feedback to make informed decisions on training priorities. Technology & LMS Management: Oversee the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) for the region to ensure users are informed of available learning and can easily access these resources. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, business leaders, and leadership to ensure learning initiatives align with the organization’s strategic objectives. Metrics & Evaluation: Define and track KPIs related to learning and development to assess program success and ROI, implementing improvements based on data insights.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in learning and development, with at least 2 years as a people leader. Strong knowledge of instructional design, learning theory, and training methodologies a plus Experience with LMS platforms and virtual learning tools Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills Analytical mindset with experience in measuring the impact of L&D programs preferred
