Manager, Legal Operations
**Overview** Support Legal Department operations by streamlining processes both internal to the legal department and externally in collaboration with global subsidiaries and affiliates. This position requires the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and business needs. Responsible for supporting the Executive Director of Legal Operations with implementing and managing entity management, e-billing, legal holds and any additional software tools implementation. **Responsibilities** **YOUR MISSION:** Support Legal Department operations by streamlining processes both internal to the legal department and externally in collaboration with global subsidiaries and affiliates. This position requires the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and business needs. Responsible for supporting the Executive Director of Legal Operations with implementing and managing entity management, e-billing, legal holds and any additional software tools implementation. **A DAY IN THE LIFE:** + Defines and drives strategic legal operational initiatives with on-time and on-budget results. + Reports key operational and substantive metrics for the legal group and its clients that will inform decision-making, including matter, cost/time, and work product analyses. + Identifies and implements legal department tools and technology, such as entity management and legal hold software, to streamline new or existing practices; manage design, rollout, and training for new tools and technology. + Develops and enforces processes and policies to manage outside counsel usage and spend. + Assists with managing departmental budget and optimizing workflows within the legal department. + Collaborates with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, regulatory, IT, and finance. + Knowledge of state corporate and incorporation laws and procedures applicable to corporations and limited liability companies, including, in particular, the State of Delaware. + Compiles and controls the corporate records of a company, which can include directors and officers, ownership structures, tax strategies, corporate names and mergers and acquisitions. + Assists in preparing corporate organization charts and related documents. + Maintains, organizes and updates Corporate Record Books including Stockholder, Director and Executive Committee -Minutes and Unanimous Written Consent documents, State Licenses, etc. + Assists in preparing required state annual report and other corporate filings to maintain corporate good standing in all applicable jurisdictions. + Assists in obtaining state and local business licenses and permits. **MUST-HAVES:** + B.A. or B.S. with 5+ years of experience with legal project operations and management in-house or at a law firm (both preferred), or 7 years of experience in a Legal dept. of a corporation or law firm required. + Prior experience developing knowledge playbooks, procedures, and policies. + Demonstrated ability to independently move projects forward by collaborating cross-functionally with proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups (e.g., Finance, Operations, Sales, IT) to set objectives and produce meaningful results. + Strong experience in developing, implementing, managing and using legal department technology solutions (e-Billing, contract/matter management, entity management and e-signature) **BENEFITS & PERKS – WE’RE ALL ABOUT YOU:** + Great Medical / Dental Benefits + Company-Matched 401K Retirement Savings + Annual Bonus Program + Educational Assistance &Reimbursement Program + Relaxed Dress Code + Onsite Recreation Center & Café + PASATalksSpeaker Summits + Leadership & Mentorship Programs + High5 Reward Recognition Program + Onsite Happy Hours! **WHO WE ARE:** And many more benefits & perks found within the ‘Our Culture’ section… At Panasonic, our technology and engineering expertise delivers innovation across diverse industries.
