Manager, Legal Ops, Reporting & Communications
Job Summary

Walgreens is looking for a Manager – Legal Operations. The Manager will work closely with Walgreens Legal & Compliance staff and lawyers, external counsel, vendors, and cross-functional team members, to manage Legal & Compliance processes and systems. The Manager should have strong interpersonal, project management, and business process engineering skills. This role will be responsible for maintaining Legal & Compliance executive reporting, developing materials for key Legal & Compliance leadership meeting, and partnering with critical business partners (i.e., HR, Communications, etc.) to drive key people initiatives such as Legal & Compliance specific training (i.e., CLEs), Legal & Compliance internship program, Legal & Compliance communications, etc.

Job Responsibilities

Manages day-to-day activities of the Legal & Compliance processes and systemsManages at least one critical Legal & Compliance operation and administrative functionEstablishes and manages appropriate program artifacts (e.g., workplan, status report, RAID log) to track progress against initiative milestones and deliverables and provide trasparency for key stakeholdersPartners with vendors and outside counsel to facilitate Legal & Compliance processes and systemsProvides exemplary customer services for stakeholders of Legal & Compliance operations and administrative functions that individual ownsPartners with Legal & Compliance stakeholders throughout the implementation of specific initiatives, including workflow design, requirement definition, technology integration, testing, training, go-live, follow- on optimization, hyper care, and customer supportEffectively communicates status of initiatives and/or critical information to key stakeholdersDocuments, communicates, and supports resolution of key risks and issues; partners with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to resolve roadblocksShares information cross-functionally to improve processesBuilds trust and strong relationships with Legal & Compliance, and cross-functional, leaders and team membersDisplays high energy and resilience in ambiguous and fast-paced contexts
