Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Marketing Science & Analytics to join our Marketing team. This role will be pivotal in leveraging data to drive consumer insights, optimize marketing strategies, and enhance customer communications.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Marketing specific data analytics or data sciences, including experience mining data stored in CDP and CRM systems to generate consumer segmentation models, pricing elasticity analyses, store media target analyses, etc.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts data mining and analysis of consumer data from CDP systems to identify high priority consumer segmentations, store clusters and other analysis to aid targeting.   Mines CRM system to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform marketing strategies. Develops and implements statistical models using internal POS and Syndicated Market Share data to create a better understanding of the drivers of consumer demand, promotional lift, ROI and ROAS. Builds and maintains pricing elasticity models to help optimize pricing strategies and maximize revenue. Collaborates with other marketing teams, including performance marketing, CRM, product management and pricing to integrate data-driven insights into decision-making processes. Presents findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders. Stays updated with the latest trends and advancements in marketing data science and marketing analytics. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Manage syndicated share data providers such as NielsenIQ and Circana. Design and manage competitive intelligence studies using third parties for mystery shopping and scraping. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in market research and consumer insights. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance research methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a focus on Marketing data Strong consumer data skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. Experience building price elasticity models, consumer segmentation, or similar Familiarity and experience with analytics software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, SPSS, SAS, etc.). Experience working with consumer offtake data (internal POS, syndicated data from NielsenIQ, Circana). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with marketing department transformation preferred. Customer service oriented, recognizing the importance of client services. Exercises excellent professional judgment. Ability to multitask and manage large, complex projects. Adaptable to change in the organizational environment. Demonstrated follow-through and attention to detail. Experience in the services industry, with automotive or retail experience a plus Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including regular travel to corporate H
