Current Need:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with strong project leadership skills to support the following McKesson business segments:

Community Pharmacy & Health, which is comprised of independent retail pharmacy customers.

Alternate Site Pharmacy, which is comprised of long-term care, specialty and infusion and hospice customers.

Non-acute Plasma & Biologics, which is comprised of specialty pharmacy customers offering infusion services.

This individual contributor will be responsible for supporting the implementation and project management of strategic marketing initiatives. This role requires a critical thinker who can work cross-functionally, manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Content & Project Support

Partner with Marketing Team members to execute on content strategy, supporting ongoing customer engagement both internally and externally.

Manage project schedules, deadlines and approvals with stakeholders and the production/design team using enterprise project management and sales enablement systems (e.g. Marketo, Workfront, Highspot and Optimizely.

Manage segment content repositories (e.g. Highspot), providing support to sales team members and ensuring content is up-to-date.

Event Support

Collaborate with Marketing Team and Corporate Events to implement tactics for events, including logistics, coordination and on-site support..=

Manage requests for supporting materials (e.g. advertisements, write-ups, trade show collateral).

Oversee the execution of deliverables and engagement strategies for McKesson ideaShare, the nation's premier community pharmacy event. Effectively manage project deadlines, deliverables and supporting materials, while collaborating with key stakeholders and integrating their feedback. Manage vendor strategy and process, overseeing offerings, applications, and fielding questions as needed.

Communications Support

Manage internal and external communications, determining appropriate channels and creating/editing content for customer communications such as newsletters, articles and sales support materials.

Budget, Analytics, and Reporting Support

Provide support for processing and invoicing as needed.

Measure and report the performance of marketing initiatives to segment stakeholders, showing progress to defined objectives and goals.

Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing tactics, adjusting strategies based on data insights and business needs.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals. May utilize internal or external resources to accomplish goals.

Minimum Requirement:

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of experience executing marketing initiatives.

Education:

4-year bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience

Critical Skills:

Minimum of 4 years relevant experience with specific experience executing marketing initiatives

Proven experience leading, executing and tracking successful marketing communications campaigns.

Proven experience in project management, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts in area of marketing and communications.

Expert in MS Office with a working knowledge of other business productivity tools (CRM platforms, CMS/enterprise systems, sales enablement & communication tools).

Health care industry preferred.

B2B experience preferred

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a talent for telling stories and engaging different groups of people, including senior leaders.

Experience collaborating and working cross-functionally among various segments and business functions.

Working Conditions:

Hybrid (heavy remote with 2-4 days per month at our Headquarters office in Irving, TX)

Approximately 15% travel

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$79,900 - $133,100
