Join us as we strive for excellence and help drive innovations that craft the future. **Division Specific Information** Our Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) business is a pivotal part of the Material and Structural Analysis Division (MSD). We craft and produce outstanding tools that enable scientists and engineers to deliver semiconductor innovations globally, accepting equivalent experience in addition to an MSD. **The Position** Manage the Mechanical Engineering team in Fremont, CA, specializing in semiconductor solutions. Guide and support team growth in skills and proficiencies within a collaborative work environment. Manage supplier and partner relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure project quality and efficiency. Offer technical mentorship to support design projects and solve engineering challenges effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead the Systems Mechanical Engineering group passionate about mechanical engineering. + Develop proficiencies in mechanical and systems engineering within the team. + Coordinate team goals, performance evaluations, and talent acquisition. + Ensure high-quality output from team members. + Provide effort estimations and prioritization to support project portfolios. + Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in team processes, collaborations, or proficiencies. + Contribute to the development and maintenance of the EFA technology roadmap, ensuring commonality across portfolios. + Collaborate with industry partners, research centers, and universities to develop innovative concepts and modules. + Engage with project leads, program managers, and peers to ensure productive collaboration across teams and divisions. **Qualifications and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in complex mechanical system designs. (Master's degree preferred) + At least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering; experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred. + Proven experience leading teams in a high-tech R&D environment. + Strong understanding of New Product Development (NPD) processes and challenges. + Knowledge of optomechanical and electron microscopy technologies is highly preferred; experience in other complex industries will also be considered. + Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects through the defined processes. + Outstanding skills in inspiring, persuading, and motivating teams. **Compensation and Benefits** The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $129,400.00–$194,050.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
