·      Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering efforts for the design, development, and manufacturing of consumer electronic products.

·      Oversee the design and analysis of mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with product performance requirements, industry standards, and regulations.

·      Supervise the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and BOMs.

·      Evaluate mechanical performance and reliability of components, subsystems, and assemblies through analysis and testing.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer engineering, manufacturing, NPI, and quality, to optimize product design for manufacturability, cost, and quality.

·      Mentor and guide junior mechanical engineers on design practices, analysis techniques, and industry best practices.

·      Identify and resolve mechanical design issues, providing guidance and support for troubleshooting efforts.

·      Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the mechanical design process, tools, and methodologies.

·      As a “working manager”, also able to perform Senior Mechanical Engineer tasks including but not limited to developing, building, and analyzing mechanical design concepts and prototypes to meet performance requirements while ensuring functionality, assembly, and cosmetic standards through documentation and tolerance analysis.
