Provides analytical support critical in positioning system or network changes necessary to enhance the market share.** • Provides complex programming and analytical support for medical cost trend analysis and strategic planning (such as identifying medical cost trend drivers and being a subject matter expert of value-based contracts). • Serves as project manager and/or participant on selected project(s). (such as automation projects and opportunities to improve efficiency) • Partners and consults with Actuarial, Network, Patient Management and Segment teams to provide medical cost analysis to assess effectiveness of managing costs creating and implementing plans to effectively manage medical costs based on analysis or trends. • Selects and builds strong team through formal training, diverse assignments, coaching, mentoring and other development techniques. • Presents complex information in a way that multiple levels within an organization can understand and utilize to make appropriate decisions to meet business objectives. Presentations can be within the company and externally to providers. • Individual contributor that applies wide-ranging knowledge and experience of own job area within business unit or function, and may have advanced knowledge and practical experience of specific technical areas applied within the context of a similar industry or type of organization • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities. **Required Qualifications** • 3+ years prior experience • Prior healthcare industry knowledge • Set objectives and deliver results that have a significant impact within the context of a wider operational area • Plans and sets objectives to deliver responsibilities that have a direct effect on the business results within the context of the functional area that the job is in • Requires independent completion of work, where discretion is required within broader established operational boundaries of the function that job is in • Recognized as subject matter expert • Typically works independently and manages projects **Preferred Qualifications** • Advanced skills in Excel, MS-Access and Web-based query tools (MCM, data warehouse). Ability to learn new technologies. • Strong analytical ability and familiarity with advanced financial and healthcare concepts. • Demonstrates critical thinking and expresses ideas clearly, concisely and logically from a cross functional perspective. • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently. • Demonstrates initiative, innovation and leadership in achieving results. **Education** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $66,330.00 - $145,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
