Manager, National Corporate Training
Job Description The National Training Manager (NTM), located in our Irvine, CA corporate office, supports the franchise for an assigned Botox Therapeutic indication. The NTM is responsible for the design and delivery of training solutions to the sales organization, managed markets team, marketing team, MSLs, and DMs. The NTM is instrumental in ensuring that brand strategy, clinical and anatomical expertise, and selling skills are represented in the training curriculum and participates in the design of the overall learning journey of the account specialists and district managers in this division. The DMs and Account Specialists in this division are directly responsible for training HCPs on the proper delivery of the product by intramuscular injection into the patient. The NTM is accountable to quickly build relationships with key stakeholders and manage stakeholders at various levels of leadership. The role requires a high level of innovation, collaboration, strategy alignment/execution, and application of training and adult learning fundamentals to enhance the overall performance of participants. This is a hybrid position with the ability to commute to our Irvine, CA office at least 3 days per week with a commitment to travel domestically 50% of the time. Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and deliver compliant, experiential, and didactic learning solutions which inspire confidence, increase effectiveness, and increase the credibility of the participants in alignment with the brand team strategic imperatives. + Collaborate with brand marketers, and agency partners to develop/update/maintain learning solutions and related materials while building trust through regular interactions and proven working partnerships. + Navigate the Medical/Legal Review process for created training materials. This process includes managing training timelines, timely submission and project approval. + Implement and facilitate the use of training solutions to senior leadership, sales leadership, and the national sales team using multimedia and live presentation skills at various sales training programs, meetings, and events as required by the annual training plan. Administer annual cadaver lab training experiences for all clinical division personnel including but not limited to sales organization, managed markets team, marketing team, MSLs, and DMs + Display expert-level knowledge, demonstration and ability to coach/assess the assigned indication anatomy, procedure, and injection trainings, along with each component of the established sales model. + Provide candid and specific feedback to training participants resulting in their awareness of strengths and opportunities for improvement. Communicate gaps to district managers as needed for improved performance. + Manage contracts, statements of work, and purchase orders with external consultants and vendors in partnership with the Associate Director of Training, to maintain established budgetary guidelines. + Lead, assist, or participate in various assigned divisional and intra-divisional projects and career/professional development opportunities as identified by the division senior leadership team and/or the Associate Director or Director of Training. + Execute field co-travels with Account Specialists to provide individual coaching while also identifying salesforce/customer feedback and needs which can be addressed and implemented in future training plans. + Develop Field Sales Trainers by providing a meaningful role in training classes and one-on-one performance coaching based on their interactions in the training setting. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree or higher is required + Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical, medical device/equipment, industry-related sales OR corporate training experience is required + Minimum of 2 years successful consultative sales experience with high reimbursement components is preferred + Experience selling in the Botox Therapeutic franchise highly preferred. + Experience selling Buy & Bill, Specialty Pharmacy, Medicare Part B, and Medicare Part D products is preferred + Experience selling within any of the following specialty areas is preferred: neurology, physical medicine & rehabilitation, pain medicine, or urology and OB/GYN + Experience with successful project development, management, execution, and multitasking is required + Experience in delivering impactful group presentations is required + Experience selling within academic medical centers and/or government hospital accounts, including work with residents, fellows, and/or pharmacy managers is preferred Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: ​ + The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
