TITLE: Manager, Operations Finance, T&HS USCA

LOCATION: Indianapolis Plant – Indianapolis, IN

BUSINESS UNIT: Texture & Healthful Solutions, USCA

REPORTS TO: Director, Operations Finance, T&HS USCA

SUPERVISION: 3 direct reports

           

Primary Function

This position is responsible for all aspects of accounting, administration, and internal controls for the T&HS USCA plants (segment). This responsibility includes not only ongoing performance, but continued improvements in processes, accuracy and analytical support to the Operations Finance Director, T&HS USCA, and Plant Managers on corporate level and spending control initiatives as well as overall plant performance. Overall responsibilities include accurate and timely reporting and analysis for fixed assets and spending accounts, as well as calculation and administration of raw material and manufacturing rates, BOM maintenance, profit plan, and LE’s.

Core Responsibilities

Maintain overall responsibility for the accounting of inventories, fixed assets, accruals and spending in accordance with GAAP.Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all segment facilities’ accounting reports issued and month-end closing to Westchester.Proactively identify, oversee and communicate on production and spending issues at segment facilities.Forecasting - Drive and improve profit plan and quarterly forecasts for segment facilities.Budgeting - Support and lead the timeliness and accuracy of the process across segment facilities.Develop and implement standardized practices across all segment facilities. Collaborate with colleagues to determine best practices for all Ingredion manufacturing locations in U.S./Canada segments.Analyze manufacturing and raw material rates. Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM’s).Develop and socialize plant performance benchmarks and key metrics, such as labor rates, absorption and inventory analyses.Coordinate and resolve internal control deficiencies in support of Sarbanes-Oxley.Effectively manage, develop and deploy staff to meet the requirements of multiple manufacturing facilities, corporate accounting and segment strategic agenda.Develop and maintain relationships with all Plant, Unit and Functional Managers across multiple locations to ensure accurate and timely reporting of performance at all segment facilities.

Qualifications:           

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA a plus.10 years progressive experience in financial analysis/accounting environment;   manufacturing a plus.Proficiency in US GAAP accounting principles and understanding of Sarbanes – Oxley.Strong computer skills with knowledge in the use of MS Office; SAP experience strongly preferred.Demonstrated managerial experience leading financial professionals.Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions.Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to convey information in a clear, focused and concise manner.Proficient in the English language.Ability to Travel up to 25%

Pay Range:

$119,520.00-$159,360.00 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
