About the Role:
\nRevenue Operations is responsible for driving financial success through creating, maintaining, and continually improving the operations, platforms and intelligence that support our go-to-market teams. This team works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the customer journey, from lead generation to revenue recognition. Revenue Operations is a pivotal partner in helping our go-to-market teams achieve their revenue goals.
\nThe Manager, Finance Operations at PitchBook plays a pivotal role in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Finance teams. Treating Finance teams as your customers, your goal is to empower and enable them to operate as autonomously as possible when working with our enterprise Finance systems (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle, Sidetrade). To do this, you are responsible for developing yourself and your team into experts in Finance operational processes, deeply understanding how the tools and enterprise systems we provide to Finance teams meet their operational needs and offer operational efficiencies, and then providing services via your team (support, training, and documentation) that Finance teams need to be effective.
\nYou manage the success of three primary functions: Finance Platform support, Finance Platform training, and Finance operational documentation. Finance Platform Support: You are responsible for establishing standardized inflow processes through which business teams can submit requests for support and issues with or questions about our Finance Platform tools. Positioning your team for quickly responding to and resolving Finance team tickets, you manage and prioritize incoming work, establish and adhere to internal SLAs, and build, monitor, and improve Finance Operations team metrics to measure your success. Finance Platform Training: You are responsible for establishing and overseeing training for Finance teams on our operational systems, thereby increasing those teams’ autonomy and reducing support needs. Further, as an internal “go-to-market\" function, you ensure your team evangelizes new features, tools, systems, integrations, and data/metrics that are made available by Finance & CS Platform and Intelligence teams. Finance Operational Documentation: You will maintain up-to-date documentation on Finance operational processes and how our ecosystem of tools supports, enables, and automates Finance’s needs.
\nYou collaborate closely with the Finance Platform and Intelligence teams, serving as a key stakeholder for changes those teams make to our enterprise systems and analytics and feeding them knowledge and information about how Finance teams are working to help them improve their systems and tools to meet those needs.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
\n\nEstablish standardized inflow processes for handling requests and tickets from Finance teams, prioritizing work, and adhering to internal SLAs\nOwn and drive our finance operations strategy and objectives (OKRs)\nUpdate and evangelize internal documentation and training materials for new tools or automation introduced by platform teams\nDevelop and monitor team metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for organizational efficiency improvements through automation\nContribute ideas and insights to the Finance Platform team for inclusion in the automation roadmap\nSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors\nParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requested\n\n\n
Skills and Qualifications:
\n\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field\n6+ years of experience in finance operations, business process improvement, or related roles within a fast-paced environment\n2+ years of experience managing a team, with a track record of fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture\n5+ years of experience with CRM and finance systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle, Sidetrade), automation tools, and other operational platforms commonly used in finance operations\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for process optimization\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams\nDemonstrated track record of driving change and process improvement initiatives\nProficiency in project management methodologies and tools\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively\nProficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily\n\n\n

Compensation
\n\nAnnual base salary: $120,000-$138,000\nTarget annual bonus percentage: 15%\n\n\n
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.

Working Conditions:
\nWe believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 4+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
\nThe job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
