JOB INFORMATION Job Title: Manager, Process Engineering Job Code: 20002121 Effective Date: 01/27/2025 Job Family: Engineering FLSA Status: Exempt Job Function: Process Engineering Job Level: Manager JOB SUMMARYThe Manager, Run Engineering is responsible for providing technical oversight and direction during operational troubleshooting across DKL’s facilities and will provide input to brownfield facility upgrades associated with the Company’s oil and gas midstream pipelines, terminals, processing facilities, trucking stations, and loading racks. The Manager will regularly interface with senior leaders within Delek Logistics Technical Services and will ultimately be responsible for seeking alignment from those disciplines to meet department objectives.
The Manager shall both carry out and manage activities related to operational troubleshooting and brownfield modifications, and continually interface with other organizations (Reliability, Operations, Supply Chain, EHS, etc.), and contract for and supervise 3rd party personnel as required to meet the business unit’s objectives. The Manager must balance the needs of various internal customers with potentially conflicting and overlapping priorities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCECollege graduate with a four-year bachelor’s engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.
8+ years’ progressive experience of oil and gas midstream industry experience is preferred, or 12+ years of refining, petrochemical, or upstream oil & gas experience required.
At least 4 years’ experience working in an operation support role.
Hydraulics and process modelling experience including the use of software packages such as Aspentech HYSYS and BRE Promax.
Deep knowledge of API and related industry standards and best practices
Experience in the use and configuration of OSIsoft PI and PowerBI to develop tools and dashboards.
Willing to attend and participate industry-sponsored conferences, seminars, training, and summits.
Working knowledge of PHMSA regulations, DOT Part 195, TX Railroad Commission, ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8 design standards, and API Recommended Practices
Overnight travel to company locations and facilities for meetings, training, special projects, emergency planning, or information gathering will be required.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license
Must be able to obtain a TWIC card
Must be willing to submit to DOT random drug & alcohol screening
