Job Description:

About the Role: 

The Manager, Order to Cash is the functional expert in the Order to Cash life cycle.  That life cycle begins with customer set up and credit approval followed by invoicing, trade promotion creation and accrual management, collection activity, application of incoming cash, deduction management, reserve management, and ends with GL reconciliation.  Working in a global business environment, this position will ensure appropriate KPI’s and SLAs are monitored and achieved consistently while supporting ongoing continuous process improvement and adhering to internal controls.  As a leader in the Order to Cash (OTC) tower, this position includes gaining end to end knowledge of all Order to Cash (OTC) processes for cross functional support. Reports to Sr Manager, Order to Cash. 

  You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:  

 

Manage the OTC Cash Application, Collection and Credit team by setting clear vision for the team, ensuring alignment with the OTC strategy.  Assists with goal setting. 

Provides leadership that is proactive, inclusive, respectful and results driven.  Partners with sales, finance, supply chain, global business services, cross-divisional business colleagues and other key partners to resolve issues, improve process efficiency, and establish policies.   

Partners with key global business services leaders to drive success in KPI’s and SLA’s by auditing work and focusing on continuous process improvement. 

Manages the performance and development of the global team members directly and indirectly with offshore team leadership. 

Be escalation point for team and drive complex issues to resolution. 

Provide ongoing recognition, feedback, and development, holding staff accountable for success. 

Perform employee performance assessments and provide feedback and guidance on developmental needs for team members.  Assist team members to create robust development plans.  

Drives operational excellence and ensures full alignment within all TreeHouse Foods business, compliance, and audit requirements.  Understand and enforce internal controls. 

Ensures OTC policies are clearly defined, in line with standards, are up to date, documented and adhered to. 

Provides approval in accordance with the documented delegation of authority. 

Responsible for development, measurement, and delivery of KPIs.  

Participates in month end close activities. 

All other assigned duties. 

 

Important Details:  This is a role located out of our Green Bay, WI office. This will be a hybrid role with Tuesday – Thursday onsite and Monday and Friday remote.   

 

About You: 

You’ll fit right in if you have: 

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance or Accounting required 

Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team required; leadership of a global team preferred 

Knowledge and/or experience with the order to cash life cycle preferred, this includes skills such as credit granting, deduction research and clearing, trade promotion agreement creation and accrual management, collections, cash application, or process Improvement 

Experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry preferred 

Experience with SAP required 

Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment 

Results driven with a focus on high performance, and attention to detail 

Possess a process improvement mindset 

Excellent communication skills, written and oral, for effective interaction with all levels of the organization 

Cultural Acumen 

Ability to think logically, problem solve and build effective teams 

Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams)
