Manager, Patient Experience
Overview Focuses on promoting customer service and patient experience excellence by serving as a mediator and liaison for patients and making recommendations for improvements to patient services. Manages Patient Services Advocates whose focus is the needs of at-large patients living outside of the Cherokee Nation reservation and coordinates with Patient Services Advocates whose focus is the needs of patients living within the Cherokee Nation reservation to implement new practices, policies, and procedures. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; or six (6) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree preferred but not required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT An additional two (2) years of experience in a related field. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Design software, Internet software, Order processing systems, Payroll systems, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
