JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations across multiple locations within the EMEA region, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing for all employees. This role involves managing one or more payroll professionals, collaborating with HR and Finance departments throughout the EMEA region, and maintaining adherence to local, regional, and international payroll regulations and tax compliance. The EMEA Payroll Manager is also responsible for identifying process improvements, implementing payroll systems, and providing strategic guidance on payroll-related matters. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional organizational skills and expertise in regional payroll practices and compliance.
YOU ARE
Experienced in Payroll Operations . You will oversee payroll operations across the EMEA region, ensuring accurate and timely processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and regional laws. You will manage payroll KPI tracking, develop and implement payroll policies, and review all payroll steps in partnership with Finance. You will lead end-to-end payroll processing, including employee status changes, terminations, and manual checks, while managing monthly payroll close and preparing management reports. You will also conduct analytical reviews, trend analyses, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, identify budget risks, and support month-end close activities.
A Payroll Systems Expert. You will ensure accurate setup and maintenance of country and local tax information in payroll systems. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payroll and time-tracking systems, leading system implementations across regional jurisdictions. You will also provide strategic oversight to optimize system performance and compliance with local tax regulations.
Committed to Compliance . You will Collaborate with HR to establish and maintain effective payroll workflows, including onboarding, termination, time tracking, and time-off management, ensuring best practices and process improvements. You will maintain strict adherence to internal control compliance through robust policies, procedures, and timely reporting, safeguarding payroll confidentiality and accuracy.
Passionate about Talent Development . You will lead, motivate, and develop the EMEA payroll team, ensuring alignment with PIP Global’s business needs and future growth. You will manage staffing, budgetary requirements, and department performance standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. You will also oversee special projects and analyses, driving strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business management or a related field of study.
+ Certified Payroll Professional (“CPP”) Designation desirable
+ 7+ years of experience overseeing Payroll functions in a global environment
+ Exposure to international operations
+ Experience participating in system evaluation and implementation
+ Proven ability to develop and sustain a department that is poised to meet the changing needs of the company

+ Fluent in English with an ability to communicate in a second language is strongly preferred.
