Primary Purpose PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Manage the bi-weekly and semimonthly payroll for 32,000 employees from start of the cycle to archive (when checks are printed). This includes special payments issued quarterly and annually. This job is the primary point of contact for HR leads and Corporate Compensation for day-to-day activities and special requests. Primary Duties PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage the bi-weekly and semimonthly processing of payroll checks to archive (SME on Oracle HCM payroll configuration, inbound and outbound feeds, query and report validation, etc) (35%) Coach, train, and supervise management (4 employees) on daily assignments and special tasks (including numerous off cycle runs during the year). Encourage areas for growth and expanded overall knowledge. Act as liaison (managing and building relationships) between different groups as well as communicate/coordinate changes in process and procedures to Payroll Staff. (20%) Manage the exception processing, annual special payments (LTIP and DCP Distributions) base salary validation for all executives. Primary point of contact for active and termed executives for Payroll. (15%) Provide direct assistance with Operational Support team on Payroll specific system changes and configuration. Develop and implement process improvements as deemed beneficial to Payroll. Continue to look for ways to improve efficiencies and/or reduce unnecessary expenses. (15%) Provide business user sign off for all new configuration, system enhancements, system upgrades, etc. (5%) Responsible for numerous miscellaneous tasks: BCP Coordinator, SME on Archiving, setting up new departments in HRPC, Primary contact with Check Print vendor, which includes monitoring inventory and tracking invoices as well as maintaining the day to day relationship. (5%) Provide full assistance and support with internal and external audit requests (5%) Job Scope JOB SCOPE Responsible for sign off on bi-weekly payroll that averages $115 Million each bi-weekly run Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of all payroll checks and related special payments. Works under minimal supervision. Oversight and responsibility for 4 full-time Management Payroll Analysts Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or 7-10 years of relevant experience Demonstrated ability in training and in-depth knowledge of applicable payroll applications Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent Communication skills Ability to delegate and lead a small team on specific tasks In lieu of degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Oracle HCM Cloud experience Proficient in query writing Excellent analytical skills 3-5 years of supervisory experience. Benefits Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $116,800.00/Yr. - USD $175,200.00/Yr.
