The Manager, Payroll Services will be responsible for the oversight and successful delivery with the highest levels of quality and timeliness of payroll operations ensuring full compliance of internal and external policies and regulations across different countries in Latinamerica.
They are responsible for guiding their team in the execution of all payroll related processes, services and solutions. They will interface with HRBPs, COEs, Finance, IT, Ingredion sites, Government entities and other key stakeholders to ensure delivery within agreed upon service levels.
Continuously seeking improvement on process and service delivery adhering to the existing HR model.
Key Deliverables:
Manage payroll team to ensure activities are well-managed and payroll processes completed on time and within quality objectivesManage and oversee the execution of day-to-day payroll inputs collection, handoffs, approvals, and issue management.Manage resolution of payroll related escalated inquiries and complains.Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and controls.Serve as liaison to Employees, Managers, HRBPs, COE,s and vendors when Payroll cases require escalation.Recommend improvements in systems, processes and tools based on operations results.Share relevant payroll information, access and knowledge with other HR teams to provide the best employee and manager experience and support thru the ideal service and support channel.Collaborate with audit teams for internal and external audits.Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
8 years of relevant processing experience in Payroll processing in an in-house environment for Mexico, Brasil.Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate work experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred.Experience in Compensation and Benefits processes, procedures, policies and practices.Knowledgeable of Compliance and Regulatory requirements.Expert in measuring and reporting payroll performance with relevant key performance indicators.Experience in Shared Services modelProficiency in Microsoft Excel including mastery of v-lookup, pivot tables and advanced formula functions.Customer service-oriented with skills in critical thinking and continuous improvement.Excellent aptitude and adoption of technology tools to facilitate effectiveness and efficiencyLeadership and management experience directing the work of others, mentoring, development, keep engaged for local and remote team members.Extensive experience with and ability to quickly comprehend requirements and transform them into project tasks/deliverablesPossesses the ability to collaborate effectively with others, manage conflict and resolve issue. Key stakeholders include HR, Finance, Plants and employees and external parties.Must be able to work under tight timelines and have excellent organization and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse, and conflicting activitiesMulti-lingual capability required.
