Four Seasons Yacht I

With elegant lines and sweeping ocean views, our spectacular yacht is home to 95 expansive suites and guest rooms, alongside a world-class choice of dining, wellness, and entertainment. It delivers numerous industry firsts to the yacht category — including the largest accommodations in the class, virtually endless ways to connect and configure suites, and Four Seasons unparalleled hospitality extended across the world’s oceans for the very first time.

The Four Seasons Yacht I boasts 679 ft. in length // 34,000 Gross Tonnage// 95 Suites // 1:1 Guest/Staff Ratio

Each of the yacht’s 95 suites will offer panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows and access to expansive private terraces.

About the role

Supporting the Director P&C, Yacht Operations, the Manager will assist with the creation and implementation of the long-term People Plan for Four Seasons Yacht Operations, both for the shore-based organization and supporting the teams on the Yachts. This role will support both pre-opening activities and

provide ongoing P&C support post launch.

What you will do

The Manager will support the P&C team to provide ongoing people management support, advice and P&C operational services to Yacht Operations leaders enabling them to make informed business decisions that have People implications.

The Manager will support the DP&C and Four Seasons Yacht Operations leaders at various levels, to support creation and implementation of appropriate

solutions in the following disciplines, setting the foundation for ongoing operational excellence – recruitment and retention of staff, performance management, training, employee engagement, employee relations, total rewards, labor relations, workers compensation and change management.

The Manager will collaborate with functional/department leaders to:

Support pre-opening recruitment initiatives and foster employee engagement through the Four Seasons culture, this includes job postings, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters, etc.Support the Benefits Administration during onboarding and reconcile monthly billings.Support the Payroll function for Shoreside YCT employees.Support the Onboarding of shoreside and shipboard staff.Partner with the DP&C and other leaders to implement the benchmark Four Seasons Standards.Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers while maintaining the confidentiality of People & Culture.Support the performance & talent management strategies.Ensure that our P&C Technology platform is utilized and updated with employee information for the Yachts.

What you bring

*BA or SHRM is an asset or equivalent experience.

*5 years in P&C generalist discipline in complex, dispersed network, preferably in luxury cruise industry or luxury hotel environment.

*5+ years of increasing responsibility, ideally as a manager or similar experience providing a broad range of generalist leadership and People & Culture support to various levels of employees including senior leadership.

*Must have US work authorization to work in the Miami Corporate Office

**Previous experience working with Workday HRIS system and LMS systems is preferred.

Schedule & Hours:

*3 days per week hybrid working environment.

*Approximately 15% of time (mainly Toronto head office, visit the team on the yachts or any industry related trade shows). Travel to Shipyard for launch of FS Yacht and pre-opening training. Must be able to travel onboard the Yacht occasionally.
