This position manages and assists in establishing the overall policies and goals for the organization's pharmacy services. The incumbent maintains contact with other department heads, medical staff, and nursing staff to determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes and promote effective drug therapy. This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law

Qualifications QualificationsRequiredAdvanced degree (PharmD or MS) or equivalent clinical practice experience.Health System Pharmacy administrative residency or at least 1 year of practice experience.Licenses RequiredCurrent licensure to dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah. Current Pharmacist license in the State of Utah.* Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department. Qualifications (Preferred) PreferredApplicable supervisory training.Master's degree in a related area.Served in progressive leadership roles for at least 3 years preferred.Working Conditions and Physical Demands
