We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialization. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in-office and 2 days remotely. This role is based at our HQ in Solon, OH or our flagship office in Atlanta, GA.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Management Leader to join our growing PMO team. This role will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of client facing strategic project managers who are instrumental in delivering services for high-impact software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, and a passion for enabling teams to achieve their full potential.

You Will:

Leadership and Team Development:

o Lead, mentor, and support a team of strategic project managers, ensuring their professional growth and success.

o Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, emphasizing continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and skill development.

o Provide guidance in project management methodologies, best practices, and tools to help the team improve performance and achieve consistent results.

o Offer regular feedback, coaching, and performance reviews to ensure individual and team objectives are met.

Strategic Project Oversight:

Oversee the execution of complex, high-priority software implementation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.Monitor the progress of multiple projects, identify risks, and ensure timely resolution of obstacles to prevent delays.Maintain a deep understanding of project dependencies, resources, and constraints to anticipate challenges and proactively adjust plans.

Stakeholder Management:

Act as a liaison between project managers, senior leadership, and other departments to ensure alignment and clarity on project goals and deliverables.Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring they are kept informed of project progress, risks, and successes.Champion the team’s work, ensuring that stakeholders are confident in the team’s ability to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Process Optimization:

Continuously assess and refine the team's project management processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with industry best practices.Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the team to implement changes that enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.Champion the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies that can streamline workflows and increase productivity.

Metrics and Reporting:

Develop and maintain metrics to track the success of projects and the growth of the project management team.Provide regular updates to senior leadership on team performance, project progress, and potential roadblocks.Conduct post-project evaluations to gather lessons learned, document successes, and identify areas for improvement.

Skills:

Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of developing and inspiring high-performing teams.Highly self-driven and proactive with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions in high-pressure situations.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong, trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proven experience managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project) and methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act decisively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team management role.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.Experience in the tech/software industry, preferably within a services-driven environment.
