We are seeking a Manager, PMO Solutions, who will lead the management and execution of cross-functional projects and will develop and implement Program Management (PM) and Program Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions and systems to enhance the effectiveness of the Project Management Office (PMO).
You Will Make an Impact By:
+ Delivering strategic NPI semiconductor capital equipment programs/projects against scope, schedule, cost, resources and quality.
+ Recommending scalable, reliable solutions for project management tools and platforms. Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance project management capabilities. Evaluate low code solutions
+ Collaborating with PMO stakeholders, project managers, business partners to gather and analyze requirements for project management solutions.
+ Implementing PM and PPM methodology, processes, practices and governance and escalation including KPIs and standard reports and dashboards.
+ Utilizing and leveraging existing PDP program management system to provide program visibility and transparency to management, internal and external stakeholders, and executives to enable data driven decision making
+ Creating and managing the project master schedule and plan throughout the product development process
Skills You Bring:
+ 10+ years experience as technical project/program manager and PMO solutions architect.
+ Proven experience as a PMO Solutions Architect or in a similar role with a strong background in project management, IT systems and PMO back-office processes and implementation is highly desirable.
+ Technical expertise in semiconductor capital equipment, system or modules new product introduction, laser or optics technology or equivalent. Technical degree required, optics a plus
+ Program Management certification (PMI, IPMA, etc.) or equivalent, preferred
+ Expertise in project management methodologies and tools, MS Project, Project Server, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet
+ Experience with cloud-based solutions, enterprise resource planning, ERP and product life cycle management, PLM, a plus
+ Demonstrated ability to lead diverse and global dispersed teams and manage multidisciplinary tasks
+ Expert at project controls: schedule planning, development and management, resource allocation and critical path analysis
+ Strong leader with ability to resolve conflicts and simultaneously team build
+ Ability to complete administrative details while maintaining larger vision of program
+ Entrepreneurial and creative approach to problem resolution, but process follower

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary to support business goals. Travel estimated at an average of 10%
This is a hybrid opportunity with an average of 3 days per week working on-site in our Irvine, CA office, and 2 days per week working remotely.
We are interested in a qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we will not be sponsoring work visas for this position, at this time.
Compensation and Benefits:Salary Pay Range: $130,000 to $180,000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
