Manager, Presentation Design
**Job Description** Under limited direction from a senior-level director, uses knowledge and skills obtained through experience, specialized training, or certification to manage a team of presentation specialists. Leads defined work or projects with moderate scope and complexity and serve as a technical advisor to teams. Measures individual/project efficiency to maximize team productivity. Guidance is provided to perform varied work that is broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity to make moderately complex decisions. Responsibilities: + Manages creative team staff and provides leadership in training, career development, and prioritization of work. + Promotes excellence in design and user experience. + Ensures the quality of creative output consistently meets or exceeds client objectives and brand strategy (where appropriate) and is delivered on time. + Maintains a prioritized schedule of deliverables while adjusting to changing priorities. + Reviews the work of teams under their lead, offers constructive feedback throughout development, helps to monitor workflow volume, identifies when the team has excess capacity or no capacity and works with Investment Banking to prioritize work as needed. + May work as a senior creative team member on projects; conceptualize, initiate, edit, and present their work for projects/clients. + Assists in training, developing, and mentoring creative staff members (writers, graphic and interactive designers). + Interviews, recruits, and trains new presentation specialists. + Writes development plans and conducts semi-annual and annual reviews with members of their team. + Trains presentation team on new techniques and technologies. + Performs other duties as assigned. Skills: + Concepts, practices, and procedures of design. + Concepts, principles, and practices of marketing and financial services industry regulations. + Technical knowledge expected of designer/art director roles. + Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications. + Leadership and management of staff. + Organizing multiple priorities and tasks. + Designing, developing, and managing marketing projects. + Meeting problem-solving expectations of designer/art director roles. + Thinking independently to consider the business reality of decisions related to creative work. + Future-focused planning orientation - specifically related to creative/marketing initiatives, but (with some direction) an eye toward resource implications. + Coach, develop, mentor, and train staff. + Think beyond a single discipline to make a broad and meaningful impact on both creative strategy and execution. + Work accurately with attention to detail on marketing materials, presentations and written communication. + Organize, manage, and track multiple projects with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. + Provide a high level of service. + Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with individuals at all organizational levels. + Presentation skill: ability to communicate across and within teams with all levels of management. **Education** Bachelor’s: Digital Communications and Media/Multimedia, Bachelor’s: Graphic Design, Bachelor’s: Visual Communication **Work Experience** General Experience - 6 to 10 years **Certifications** **Salary Range** $100,000.00-$150000.00 **Travel** Less than 25% **Workstyle** Remote At Raymond James our associates use five guiding behaviors (Develop, Collaborate, Decide, Deliver, Improve) to deliver on the firm's core values of client-first, integrity, independence and a conservative, long-term view.
