Job Description
CHEP Australia is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Manager of Pricing, Billing, and Master Data to step into a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract based at Macquarie Park, Sydney (Hybrid work arrangement).
This role is critical in ensuring the seamless execution of pricing, invoicing, and master data processes across the APAC region, supporting our Finance, Sales, and IT teams.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, lead process improvements, and oversee key business outputs while working closely with automation teams to identify and implement innovative solutions.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Oversight: Oversee and continuously improve processes related to pricing, invoicing, and master data while aligning with business objectives.
Team Management: Lead and audit the Master Data team in India to maintain high standards of data integrity.
Operational Excellence: Design, develop, and enforce standard operating procedures for all Master Data activities.
System Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in SAP and Salesforce for pricing, invoicing, and billing systems.
Collaboration: Partner with global IT teams, sales, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate regional invoicing.
Innovation: Research and implement new technologies, including RPA, to enhance business efficiency.
Project Leadership: Contribute to business projects, including system testing, impact assessment, and user acceptance testing.
About YouYou’re a proactive leader with strong technical and interpersonal skills. You thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for solving complex problems through collaboration and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience:Degree in Finance, Commerce, Information Systems, or a related field.
General IT experience, with expertise in SAP and Salesforce highly desirable.
Proven track record of managing pricing, invoicing, and master data in a business environment.
Experience in a global, multicultural organization is a plus.
Key Skills:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, confident in managing key stakeholders at senior levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail with excellent time management.
Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems, database management tools, and automation solutions, with certifications being a bonus.
Creativity and strategic thinking to implement innovative solutions.
Proactive leadership and Process Improvement mindset.
