Your New Role

The Manager, Packaging, and Promotions, reports to the VP, Global Promotions & Packaging, and is accountable for the strategy and execution of all decisions around packaging and promotions for WBD’s direct-to-consumer streaming portfolio in EMEA & APAC. This individual will collaborate closely with regional and local leaders in Global Streaming Marketing, the international division, and other groups to maximize subscriber and financial targets while also representing what is best for our customers. This role is the first point of contact for all packaging and promotions questions, evaluations and strategic decisions in the regions and will be expected to main a strong current understanding of the streaming and macro dynamics of the regional markets and communicate them to global leadership. This individual will be a strong advocate for and expert in EMEA & APAC initiatives while supporting the global PP strategy, guardrails and global packaging initiatives for WBD. 
 

Your Role Accountabilities

First (and primary point) of contact for PP decisions in EMEA & APAC; The go-to regional expert on Packaging & promotions (PP) for global, regional, and local executives, and other functional teams   Lead the strategic evaluation and financial modeling of PP decisions and present findings to leadership in a clear story to enable seamless decision-making Own strategic go-to-market planning and cross-functional workstreams to deliver and execute packaging, promotions and pricing projects.  Provide economic and analytical modelling to support global packaging initiatives and new projects as required Proactively drive PP meetings in the regions, enable seamless decision-making, and share relevant EMEA & APAC takeaways to other teams  Drive the planning and roadmaps of future regional PP initiatives Become the key expert on local and regional dynamics in the regions as it relates to micro + macro factors impacting PP – e.g., competitor dynamics, major macro changes, significant platform changes Strong relationships and regular communication (e.g., weekly updates) with regional and local leaders (both within region and with other PP regional leads), as well as global functional teams, and enable or coordinate the collection and dissemination of internal PP data and industry knowledge of PP items in EMEA & APAC markets Cross-functional support and knowledge share with global peers across packaging and promotions 
 

Experience and Qualifications

Solid relevant experience in fast paced matrixed organizations, ideally with media experienceExperience in EMEA markets a must; with NORAM, and APAC a bonus Experience working within Marketing and Promotions teams ideal; with understanding of strategy development, key marketing functions and consumer growth tactics Work cross-functionally throughout the organization to drive analysis-driven recommendations  Demonstrates complex problem resolution proficiency along with the ability to distill information  Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools (Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint) 

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
