We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Clinical and Government Services Operations (CGSO) Technology, Strategic Initiatives team. This role will be pivotal in leading technology focused strategic initiatives that create efficiencies for our Prior Authorization/clinical program operations team and better experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and have a product mindset to effectively execute key initiatives, ensuring intended value is achieved. This leader will work closely with PA Operations, Information Technology (IT) Development, IT Support, Process Innovation, Product, Finance, HR, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC), and other partners.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives within CGSO that support and optimize prior authorization operations
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans
+ Utilize a systems thinking approach to identify and analyze, processes, workflows, and technology needs to improve operational efficiency
+ Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on stakeholder feedback and business objectives
+ Create and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and deliverables
+ Monitor project progress and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to ensure alignment with strategic goals
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancements and maximum value
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on project status and outcomes
+ Stay up on of industry trends and best practices related to prior authorization and healthcare operations
Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably healthcare operations
+ 1+ knowledge of pharmacy prior authorization process and workflows
Preferred Qualification
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
+ Experience in collaborating with data science teams to integrate AI solutions into existing operational workflows
+ Ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance prior authorization processes
+ Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of pharmacy prior authorization
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a focus on delivering measurable results
+ Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in creating and managing project plans
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to apply systems thinking in complex problems
+ Familiarity with CVS Caremark’s PA Products – CAS, Medhok, and Novologix
Education
+ Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $119,340.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
