Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).
As the Manager, Procurement you will be responsible for supervising a procurement team whose activities support the Maintenance Component manufacturing facilities. Additionally, providing leadership to this team of procurement professionals to deliver local service excellence to customers. The Manager, Procurement will be accountable to drive strategic improvements year-over-year with regards to quality, cost management, logistics, development, management, and overall strategic executable plans to support our Maintenance Component’s growth targets.

What You Will Do:
Manage a team of purchasing professionals who will create, standardize, and monitor compliance for Maintenance Composites manufacturing facilities procurement processes, and compliance to Purchasing Practices and Enterprise Procedures.Develop, mentor, and train personnel capable of delivering the global strategy. Adhere to the approved Performance Management Plan. Identify performance gaps. Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within this diverse global organization and recognize employee excellence.Implement successful initiatives fully satisfying customers’ expectations. Implement and execute processes and systems that mitigate Caterpillar risk and delivers the best overall solution for our internal customers. Lead teams to fully understand the requirements.Manage expectations for PSLD Procurement, to deliver benefits required to sustain a competitive advantage.Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.
What You Have (Basic Requirements):

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.Previous experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Management.Demonstrated success in large, transformational systems and/or process implementations.Lean and/or 6 Sigma Black Belt Certification/Experience.Previous experience with category management of Seals, Gaskets and Non-Metallics.

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
