Job Description The Manager, Procurement Risk is responsible for the implementation, execution, and delivery of category & supplier risk assessment strategies. The role demands a proactive approach in identification, analysis, documentation and communication of risks to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure stable and efficient supplier governance strategies. The Manager, Procurement Risk will work closely with category teams to interpret risk outcomes into contractual and supplier performance risk mitigation and monitoring cadence. Responsibilities: + Develop and refine risk assessment strategies specifically tailored to different procurement categories and suppliers. + Identify potential risk factors and vulnerabilities within each category and supplier relationship, using data-driven analysis to forecast and preempt risks. + Stay updated with industry trends and changes in the risk landscape to ensure the risk management strategies remain relevant and effective. + Implement the developed risk assessment frameworks across various procurement categories, ensuring consistent application and integration. + Conduct detailed risk evaluations for current and potential suppliers, providing insights to procurement teams for informed decision-making. + Collaborate with category teams to integrate risk management practices seamlessly into procurement processes and supplier evaluations. + Regularly monitor and update risk profiles for categories and suppliers, adapting strategies based on new data and insights. + Generate and analyze risk reports, providing key insights to the Associate Director and contributing to the continuous improvement of risk management processes. + Ensure compliance with established risk management policies and procedures, and update these as required to reflect best practices and regulatory changes. + Work closely with team to align risk management efforts with broader category strategies. Assist in the development and training of team members on risk assessment tools and methodologies. + Foster an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team, contributing to a collective understanding of risk management best practices. #LI-AL1 Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Business Administration or Supply Chain Mgmt preferred. + Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business or operations function. + Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing internal business and functional stakeholders. + Experience in category management and general understanding of category-specific risks. + Experience supporting category risk profiles and executing mitigation strategies. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. + Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
