How will you make an impact?

As the DCBS Procurement Project Manager, your role will involve leading the project management of the Dedicated Chemicals & Biologicals Sourcing Team. You will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery and managing the divisional procurement function within the team. Working with various internal teams, you will drive business objectives and metrics.

What will you do?

Coordinate and be accountable for overall team schedule, ensuring landmarks are achievedPerformance management and development of the DCBS Purchasing team, including mentorship, employee reviews, compensation, critical metric management, and delivering results.Effectively lead, develop, and enable the DCBS team to achieve strategic objectives.Report the progress of phases and achievement of landmarks to senior leadership, identifying assistance needed to eliminate barriersCoordinate formalized risk mitigation programs to reduce vulnerability of supply chain interruptions.Develop effective supplier management relationships centered on availability, quality & cost.Act as a liaison between employees, internal support areas, and other departments.Present DCBS procurement strategies, processes, and policies to internal and external customers.Understand regulatory & market requirements and their impacts on the supply chain.Foster a positive and collaborative attitude that encourages teamwork with colleagues, team members, business partners, operational departments, and suppliers while driving meaningful change.Stay abreast of industry Best Practices, current / future policies and procedures, regulatory / trade requirements, and market dynamics appropriate to function.Achieve financial goals of the Procurement and Operations organizations via the DCBS charter.Lead and/or participate on continuous process improvement teams.

How will you get here?

Education

BS in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a technical-oriented field is required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.APICS, CPSM or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience

3 years experience with increased responsibility and complexity in Purchasing or Sourcing required.Experience with ERP systems3-5 years of program or project management and/or process improvement experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $93,800.00–$140,675.00.
