ROLE OVERVIEW
The Manager, Product Development focused on our lingerie & swim categories, will be responsible for bringing innovative ideas to life to create a product line that stands out from the competition. You should have an excellent eye for detail, a passion for staying on top of the latest fashion trends, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and international vendors/manufacturers. You’ll also need strong analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to turn ideas into reality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring that products are developed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, merchandising, and sales, to ensure that products meet customer needs and align with company goals Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure that materials and components are of the highest quality and delivered on time Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new product development Manage and mentor a team of product developers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals and contributing to the overall success of the company Develop and manage product development budgets, ensuring that spending is aligned with business goals and prioritiesROLE REQUIREMENTS
Five + years of Product Development experience - lingerie & swim experience is a plus Costing experience and the ability to negotiate costs with vendors and suppliers Intermediate level understanding of G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Illustrator Excellent time-management and organization skills to consistently meet deadlines Effective verbal and written communication skills Experience in garment and fabric construction a plus Attention to detail Ability to work efficiently and quickly without compromising quality Exceptional attention to detail and quality control Adeptness to organize, prioritize, and pivot workload in a dynamic environment Capacity for working both independently and as part of a collaborative team Competence for executing independent decisions Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Supply Management English, additional language(s) an advantage Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | OnsiteBENEFITS
