In addition to these core areas, the upstream product manager will support business development and strategic opportunity assessments. If you’re passionate about identifying market needs, shaping innovative solutions, and driving successful product launches, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** + Support carotid and peripheral market assessments as well as any business development or strategic opportunity assessment in partnership with the Cordis business development and strategy teams. Lead the engagement and alignment with Cordis leadership. + Develop and maintain a clear and prioritized peripheral and carotid product roadmap/strategy based on market analysis, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence. Drive alignment at executive level and throughout organization. + Lead product launches from an upstream marketing perspective, including initial launch plans, working with the commercialization team, training the sales force, and providing post-launch support to ensure market adoption. Align product development initiatives with the strategic goals of the business. Represent marketing on core teams completing needed market deliverables per product development phase. + Conduct thorough market research and customer needs assessments to identify market gaps, trends, and growth opportunities in defined area of focus. Includes developing a robust list of customer needs and ensure translation into product design, market model forecasts, and go-to market assessments. + Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and healthcare professionals to gather insights and feedback on product development and to influence product direction to ensure alignment with Voice of Customer (VOC). + Create compelling product messaging and value propositions that resonate with clinicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals. Lead initial product messaging development and support the development of marketing collateral and sales tools. + Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, including key competitors’ products, marketing strategies, and technological advancements. Use insights to inform strategic decision-making. Expected Areas of Competencies: + Required experience working within the carotid or peripheral vascular markets. + Strong project management, decision making, and organizational skills. + Good financial background including development of revenue forecasts, NPVs and comfort with reading and analyzing P&Ls and other financial statements. + Excellent communication skills with ability to convey a message that is clear and concise, linking business issues, accounting concepts, financial results, and strategy. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, as well as marketing tools and CRM systems. + Analytic mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. + Collaborative and team-oriented approach. + Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. + High level of integrity, dependability, and personal drive. + Builds and maintains long-term relationships with high level surgical consultants, key strategic customers and regional sales teams to promote and support the core brands. **Qualifications** + 8+ years of experience in product management, marketing, engineering, sales or related field. Experience in medical device or healthcare industry preferred. + Required: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
