We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Product & Technology, to support our Accounting & Finance Systems Technology team to join us. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of a technical and business strength, with a consistent record in finance transformation and delivering outcomes for business partners. Responsibilities for this role include leading the design, development and implementation of technology solutions that improve our financial operations and support our strategic goals for T-Mobile’s Finance & Accounting Business Partners. The role will most often lead teams of 5 - 10 FTEs, as well as indirectly leading some onshore and offshore contracting companies.

Further, this People Leader role is also responsible for attracting, hiring, retaining a high performing, full stack, team of Product Managers, Software Engineers, and other members of technical staff to support our various products and platforms. This role is also directly accountable for developing strong and positive relationships outside your direct teams with our business partners, cross functional organizations, and supporting vendors.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development and implementation of finance and accounting technology solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.Collaboration with accounting and finance partners to identify technology needs and develop strategies to address them.Drive finance transformation initiatives, using technology to streamline processes and improve decision-making.Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide technology solutions that contribute and support their objectives.Lead a team of finance technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery.Stay current with industry trends and standard processes in finance and accounting technology, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.Effectively leads product and engineering team to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and mentor, and conducting performance reviews and conversations. Monitors and measures work tasks to ensure results are provided on time and within budget. Manages both technical relationships with assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases.Drives continuous development practice improvements across technical subject areas (e.g. team structure, roles, processes, tooling, security & compliance). Interviews and hires qualified team members, striving to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting product or project teams with contract staff when required. 


Education:

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required) 


Work Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and accounting technology, with a focus on finance transformation and business partnership.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and systems.Proven experience in leading finance technology projects and initiatives, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with business partners and collaborators.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive innovation.Experience with ERP systems, EPM Systems, financial reporting tools, and other finance and accounting software. Experience with SQL and other programming languages commonly used in data engineering, as well as experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.Technical Writing Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences. (Required).Agile Knowledge of the overall execution relating to all aspects of an agile development team, from defining the strategy and architecture through deployment and support. (Required) Technology Experience in delivering large and sophisticated business/technology initiatives. (Required) Communication: Proven ability to effectively and efficiently connect with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence. (Required) Collaboration: Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest. (Required) Business Analysis Strong analytical skills with ability to identify/analyze/ synthesize product use data. (Required) 

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud-based finance and accounting solutions.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in finance and accounting.

Licenses and Certifications:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) (Preferred) Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or equivalent experience. (Preferred)Other Technical Certification Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $134,300 - $242,200

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
