The Role
This role plans and executes projects with desired outcomes of becoming more profitable and competitive. The primary focus of this role will be on our professional services consulting team. This role will also work with CentralSquare's leadership to assess the company and identify problems, gather information, and implement solutions.
Job Duties
+ Learn about client's business challenges and technologies to better understand their business needs.
+ Review internal client company data.
+ Outline the scope of the work and identify and map out schedules, milestones, and required resources to meet the project objectives.
+ Determine and communicate the work product or results that will be delivered to the client upon project completion.
+ Develop and carry out communications to the company's senior stakeholders, company staff, and internal and external project teams.
+ Work tactfully to inspire faster adoption, greater utilization, and higher proficiency by employees regarding new ways of operating as a result of the consulting project outcomes.
+ Meet with clients to ensure the provided solution is working.
+ Help align technologies with overall goals and better utilize existing technologies and processes.
+ Effectively assess IT needs and requirements and examine IT capabilities.
+ Identify any potential IT or compliance issues.
+ Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and internal employees.
+ Integrate new technology and solutions effectively and improve process efficiency.
+ Facilitate discussions with the client to elaborate on the areas of the proposed improvement.
+ Develop and present plans to implement any recommended changes.
Skills & Requirements
+ Qualifications
+ B.A. or B.S. degree or related experience within the field
+ 5-7 years of IT consulting, preferably within the public administration or public safety
+ Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
+ Well-developed core consulting skills of research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail
+ Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results
+ Exceptional problem-solving skills with an adaptive, analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
+ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
+ Able to manage time effectively and encourage team collaboration
+ Ability to structure and manage intensive workloads
+ High degree of emotional intelligence to effectively deal with increasingly diverse clients and teams
+ Mentor junior consultants as needed and assist with career development pathways
