Responsible for managing the planning, development, execution, and analysis of accounting and financial projects, transactions, oversees capital investments, collaborates with cross functional teams, manages systems and processes in the Oracle Projects and Fixed Assets modules and ServiceNow Capital Project Request portal.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directs the development and implementation of systems, processes, and procedures for performing property accounting transactions, maintaining, and extracting financial data, producing, and analyzing financial reports; monitors systems and applications to ensure compliance with corporate policy, SOX compliance, and professional standards. Directs capital forecasting, analysis and the development of reporting tools to facilitate capital decisions. Oversees the development, content, and application of capital policy.
• Manages the development, processes, procedures and maintenance of Oracle Projects and Fixed Asset systems to ensure integrity of capital expenditures, project closeouts, overhead allocations, cost segregation, asset classifications, disposals, impairments, and assets held for sale.
• Manages Oracle Projects module integration between Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Equipment Purchasing, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Lucernex, Location Database to ensure process flows, transaction interfaces, and data integrity between systems. Manages tables, lookups, and SQL for integration.
• Manages the Oracle Fixed Assets module to ensure integrity of asset listings for depreciation expense forecasting, write offs, impairment analysis, and assets held for sale. Collaborates across functional teams on asset planning and life cycle analysis to guarantee assets are optimized, life assignment is appropriate, and assets are accurately reported and accounted for.
• Establishes and oversees the administration of acceptable accounting practices relating to cost segregation and asset classifications to assure the value of the Company is optimized and complies with prescribed accounting rules and regulations. Ensures recording and analysis accurately reflect financial transactions and integrity of data, reports and analysis; reviews and continuously improves policies and procedures.
• Provides expertise and guidance in the development of new or existing systems, procedures, controls, and reporting. Identifies opportunities for enhancement or improvements and initiates or recommends projects and solutions to meet desired objectives.
• Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 8-10 years advanced accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in restaurant, construction, or real estate field with at least 5-years of supervisory experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting/financial concepts and techniques.
• Proficient with Oracle or ERP system; personal computer skills including working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and graphics software (MS Office applications); knowledge of SQL (Oracle Reporting tools, Fusion, EPBCS, OTBI).

The range for this position is $106,400 - $149,000 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
