Manager, Project Management – Technology

This role sits in the Portfolio, Program, and Project Organization (3PO) within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. It is responsible for delivering project management governance and standards across DX T&D, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This role is focused on enabling efficient project delivery, implementing process improvements, and ensuring effective communications and insights around project delivery. The position works closely with executives and delivery teams to ensure consistency and quality in project execution. The Manager, Project Management – Technology will report to the Sr. Manager, Project & Org Strategy. **What You'll Do:** + Establish and enforce tech project management governance, processes, and standards across T&D to ensure consistency and quality in technology project execution. + Direct the development and implementation of tech project management frameworks, tools, and templates that support efficient project delivery. + Ensure projects are aligned with organizational strategy, business objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) leveraging a scalable governance practice. + Lead efforts to standardize reporting and project metrics to improve visibility into project performance and decision-making. + Identify areas for process improvement and leverage data-driven insights to implement solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness. + Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and reports that provide clear insights into project performance, risks, and strategic alignment. + Develop and manage regular reporting mechanisms to update senior leadership on key project milestones, KPIs, and outcomes. + Provide data-driven recommendations to senior executives to enable strategic decision-making inclusive of measurements around resource allocation, project estimation, value delivery, etc. + Ensure that presentations and reports are visually engaging, concise, and aligned with the priorities and concerns of senior leadership. **Required Qualifications:** + 8+ years of project/program management experience, working with technical teams developing enterprise class solutions, 5+ years leading resources with diverse skills + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices as outlined in the PMBOK. + Deep knowledge of Cloud, APIs, services, database technologies, technologist roles and responsibilities, capabilities & platform dependencies, software development lifecycle, engineering and/or product development + Experience with industry-standard project management tools such as MyPPM (Clarity), Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, keynote, or equivalent + Expertise using reporting tools, including Tableau and/or PowerBI, to communicate data-driven storytelling to leadership and executives + Expert knowledge in project estimation, project planning, resource planning, risk management, and organizational change + Experience with financial/budget management and cost-benefit analysis + Deep understanding of SCRUM, and/or Waterfall methodologies, Agile technical practices, and DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD) + Strong project leader with proven track record in leading large, multidisciplinary digital teams in a matrixed organization + Experienced in multiple full lifecycle software deliveries from business development to final software acceptance + Excellent communication and leadership abilities, to ensure effective growth and development of team + A visionary who motivates teams to excel and fosters creativity, consistently driving excellence in all endeavors + An advocate for a diverse and inclusive culture that encourages innovation and ensures every team member feels a sense of belonging + Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities + Ability to be flexible in approach and manage through areas of uncertainty. **Education:** + Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study or equivalent work experience **Job ID:** 10114361 **Location:** Orlando,Florida **Job Posting Company:** Disney Experiences The Walt Disney Company and its Affiliated Companies are Equal Employment Opportunity employers and welcome all job seekers including individuals with disabilities and veterans with disabilities.
