Job Title: Manager, Project Management Job Code: 20509 Job Location: Onsite at the Salt Lake City, UT facility Work Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: The Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Operations Manager oversees a team of MRO Operations Project Managers who are responsible for all operational aspects on MRO projects, focused on driving productivity and meeting customer demands. The MRO Operations Manager will make significant improvements in processes and establish operational plans with measurable contribution to business area results. This role requires management and leadership knowledge in job area and comprehensive knowledge within professional discipline. In addition, the MRO Operations Manager will also be responsible for hiring, training and maintaining employees that report up to the position. The MRO Operations Manager successful candidate should be able to: + Handle stressful situations with maturity, respect, and confidence + Demonstrate ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring + Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills + Be a self-starter with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions to complex problems + Demonstrate attention to detail with strong organizational skills + Excel in a team environment with the ability to avoid and resolve conflict + Understand various manufacturing processes and methods + Proven working experience in project management + Proven record of delivering end-to-end stakeholder requirements Essential Functions: + Lead and develop the MRO Operations team, providing training and mentorship + Train direct reports in financial acumen related to EVMS + Working knowledge of DOD program environment; esp. FAR, ITAR, DSS requirements + Program/Project Management training and experience a plus + Required personal attributes: Leadership, strong interpersonal skills, outstanding oral and written communications, proactive, innovative, disciplined, team-builder, motivator, closer + Demonstrated ability to successfully drive change within a matrixed organization + This position may be required to work overtime, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or holidays, to meet operational demands Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office + Strong financial acumen + Knowledge of EVMS + Related experience in a manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environments + Demonstrated ability in business and/or technical writing, public speaking, and creating formal presentations is desired + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables + Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems is preferred L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
