JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Support Manager oversees and trains 7-Eleven's Project Coordinators by providing input and direction on construction related activities involving Remodels, Maintenance, Fuels, and various Strategic Initiatives. They are also responsible for making decision to resolve issues and to continuously improve day-to-day task by developing new processes and techniques based on being a subject-matter-expert
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Manage and monitors daily team tasks and assist them with processing purchase orders, budget, invoices, check requests, and creating various reports.Develop and update training materials for future Project Coordinators. Periodically lead training sessions and introduce the team to new processes and best practices.Actively participate in leadership discussions about continuously improving tool, technology, and processesProvides management with team insights, updates, and to discuss topics or issues that impacts the team or stakeholders.Work and meet with other departments within the Store Support Center to address construction support related activities.Set up and train new vendors on how to use our systems to submit and track various requests.Manages construction related initiatives by working and aligning with departments like Accounting, Strategic Sourcing, and Financial Planning. Manage a team of seven and aligns with them on career and performance goals.PREFRRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr DegreeYEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5-10+ yearsYEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NACERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NASPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Must support programs with the ability to clearly articulate any issues and recommend solutions. Strong facilitation and program management skills. Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively with minimal supervision. Must posses willingness and aptitude to learn various software programs.
