As a successful candidate, you will:
Maintain, report and update QI data for quality indicators consisting of clinical, statistical and financial data. Analyze data, verify statistical performance and make recommendations towards actions to support improved outcomes. Facilitate councils and action groups for performance improvement outcomes. The Manager, Quality Analytics also works with hospital management to identify and prioritize performance improvement opportunities. Works with multi-functional teams and leadership to define, develop, and complete selected improvement projects with measurable, quantitative outcomes, generally using a Lean Six Sigma approach to problem solving. Additionally provides statistical consulting support for departmental and hospital-wide activities.
Data Extract and ManipulationRetrieval using complex SQL statements through the data warehouse and other sources, creation of usable quality data for end usersInternal Data SupportRetrieval, maintenance and support of internal metrics. Meeting with internal stakeholders to best craft meaningful metrics with appropriate analysisExternal Data SupportRetrieval, maintenance and support of external metrics. Working with the internal staff to analyze the metrics and meet regulatory requirementSystems ManagementBuild, upgrade and maintenance of QRRM software including Morissey, UHC, internal databases, et.al. Includes gap analysis of current systems and new system analysisRegulatory ReadinessContinuous readiness for currently known regulatory metrics and requirements; and keen analysis of future state of regulations. Analysis of healthcare legislation and participation in national forums. Working with other departments like Decisions Support, Research, Nursing, etc.Dashboard ExpansionGrowth of the current internal dashboards to internal and external quality dashboards. Standardization of quality dashboards across hospital committeesComparative StatisticsUsing comparative software (UHC), external benchmarking (US News) and other database participation to provide leadership/physicians with comparative dataPerforms other related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
