SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP ROLE
Position Summary: Leads and manages human and economic resources, interacts with customers as well as manages the quality system to achieve quality objectives. Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports. Works with every applicable function within the site to determine the appropriate process improvement. Implements actions to ensure the effectiveness of the QMS for the assigned site. Develops, deploys and maintains the quality planning system (i.e. control plans, etc.) Aligns the site budget, personnel, continuous improvement projects and kaizen events. Reviews all the corrective actions submitted by the team for final approval. Completes analytical review of the QMS to support reduction in scrap, rework, and warranty. Summarizes corrective action results and feeds back into the QMS for continuous improvement. Determines cost and capability of meeting customer requirements. Gets customer approval on deviations as required. Implements systems to meet customer requirements. Provides evidence of meeting customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develops and implements quality control programs
· Implements total quality policies.
· Establish, implement and monitor the Quality System and maintenance of its processes.
· Provide quality support in the solution of quality problems.
· Guide training to other plant functions to improve quality.
· Management representative in the ISO9001:2008 system
· Indicate the Client requirements to the Organization.
· Respond to Customer complaints.
· Quality planning in new products
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
· Leadership, Visionary, Effective communication
· + 5 Years of experience in Manager position
· Expert in problem solving techniques
· Relevant acknowledgment in Quality Control systems ( ISO 9000, etc.)
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience. 5+ years. Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years. Master degree ( plus )
